Once a year, the evening before Thanksgiving, I get a chance to see and talk with my recent and not-so-recent students. Also, once upon a time, I used to be able to connect with my students (current and past) with a private facebook group. However, I stopped using facebook in July 2016. I found a visit to facebook at that time to regularly include crazy, disturbing, and hate-filled content. Having that private group with my students is what kept me in facebook but the time has come to delete that account. So here I find myself, trying a blog. It's not my first blog ... I have a blog called Reflections of Dune that has had almost 12,000 views. So I'm hoping this blog will be a way to stay connected without using social media. A way to be connected without other trappings. A place my students can leave comments and I can periodically post something interesting. You can subscribe and get notices. Hopefully, it will be worth your time and mine.
A place for me and my students, those from the past up to the present, to stay connected and share stories of success and challenges.
